Newsnews

The holiday season is getting underway, and our canine companions are sure to be catching on to the extra activity (and groceries) around the house.

At this time of year, we’d like to say how lucky we are to share in your poochs’ lives all year — and of course for the opportunity to work off our turkey dinners come time to hike on Friday!

While we will not be hiking Thursday, November 24th, our usual hiking schedule will not otherwise be disrupted. If your plans call for your pooch to be home on a regularly scheduled day, please let us know so we can avoid intruding on family time!

Hope you and yours have a lovely holiday season, a savory Turkey Day, and good luck in keeping your pup away from any leftovers!

Meet Miso

We’d like to introduce you to Miso, an energetic 3 year old Scottish terrier mix.

A handsome little guy weighing in at 17lbs, he’s a lot of love in a small package, and is looking to be the only ‘baby’ of a new household — no small children is Miso’s ideal. Are you what he’s looking for?

Miso has been neutered, micro-chipped, is current on all vaccinations and LOVES visits to the dog park.

He’d make a great wing-man/dog for any social explorer, an entertaining companion while working around the house, or as just a furry friend for countless selfies —

the camera loves him and you will too!

Interested? Email us for more information or to arrange a meeting with this dark, handsome stranger.

Start a new tradition, this could be your first Thanksgiving with Miso!

Meet Jazminjazmin

The delightful Jazmin is a sweet rescue getting some extra love and attention from trainer Sabrina before hopefully finding her new home! As a rescue, she may come with a few quirks but she’s worth it!

I’m home for the holidays and if you know me, you know what we do on Thanksgiving! It’s all about giving back! My turkeys are ordered and I’m off to Costco to get boxes to pack up the dinners, napkins, stuff for trimmings, etc…

If you’d like to contribute, you can donate directly via my Paypal @ gooddogforlife650@gmail.com

I’ll be around cooking and taking donations of dog food, gloves, backpacks, old suitcases, sleeping bags, umbrellas, toothbrushes/toothpaste, sweatshirts and waterproof jackets, don’t forget clean socks!
The homeless don’t need extra stuff to carry that’s not a necessity so think of what you would want on these winter days and nights.

I don’t need any volunteers on Thanksgiving but thank you! I’ll have the baby of course, a dog to guard the car, and Allegra.

I’ll be making a last minute trip to the Dollar Store for those little extras that go a long way, so any donation can help someone in need this holiday season!

Thanks as always to everyone who remembers and gives at this time of year!! We all have SO much to be grateful for.

– Sabrina

Stay safe, eat your fill and be sure to take a moment of thanks for the wonderful animals & people in your life!

Thanks,

The GDFL Team
